SAS Corvaisier ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Signal Screener Stock Picker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Device Identifier

When you first use the App, we generate a random identifier (UUID) to distinguish your device from others. This identifier:

• Contains no personal information and is not derived from your name, email address, or Apple ID
• Is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any other company
• Is used for technical purposes (API authentication, subscription management) and to group the usage events described in section 1.3

Because usage events are grouped by this identifier, that data is pseudonymous rather than anonymous: we cannot tell who you are from it, but we can tell that a series of actions came from the same device.

1.2 Device Token for Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, Apple provides us with a device token to send you notifications about:

• New SEC filings for stocks in your watchlist
• Screener alerts

This token is specific to our App on your device, cannot be used to identify you personally, and can be revoked at any time by disabling notifications in your device settings.

1.3 Usage Data (Analytics)

To find out which parts of the App work well and which are broken or confusing, we record individual usage events — for example opening a screen, running a screener, or a purchase failing. Each event is linked to the device identifier described in section 1.1, and may include:

• The action performed (for example “screener run” or “filing analysis opened”)
• App version, platform (iOS or macOS), and operating system version
• The region and language configured on your device
• Short technical context, such as how many results a screener returned or why a request failed

We do not store your IP address with these events. This data is kept on our own servers, is never combined with data from other companies, is never used for advertising, and is never sold or shared with third parties.

You can turn this off at any time in Settings › Privacy › “Share Usage Analytics”. When it is off, nothing further is recorded or transmitted, and any events still waiting to be sent are deleted from your device.

1.4 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud if enabled: watchlists and stock selections, custom screener configurations, learning progress and quiz scores, and app preferences.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect: your name, email address, or phone number; your precise location or GPS data (we see only the region setting configured on your device); your contacts or calendar; your browsing history outside the App; any financial or banking information; any other personally identifiable information.

3. How We Use Information

We use the collected information to: provide and maintain the App's functionality; send push notifications you have opted into; manage your subscription status (via Apple); improve and optimize the App; comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We use the following third-party services: Apple App Store (for subscription management), Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for sending notifications, and iCloud for syncing your local data across your devices (if enabled).

We do not sell, trade, or rent any user information to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. Device identifiers are random values that cannot be reverse-engineered to identify you. Server infrastructure is secured with industry-standard practices.

6. Data Retention

Device identifiers are retained as long as you use the App. Usage events (section 1.3) are deleted automatically 180 days after they are recorded. Push notification tokens are removed when you disable notifications or uninstall the App. Local data on your device is retained until you delete the App or clear its data.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: turn off usage analytics at any time in Settings › Privacy › “Share Usage Analytics”; disable push notifications at any time via device settings; delete local App data by uninstalling the App; request deletion of your device identifier and its usage events by contacting us.

For users in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR including: right to access your data, right to rectification, right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"), and right to data portability.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy in the App. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.
